Juvenile JusticeWhat is it? Well the first part of the name gives way to part of the meaning. Juvenile justice is the area of our judicial system thats responsible for prosecuting those that are under the age of 18 years old. This system was put in place over 30 years ago.

Since then things has changed and the crimes that juveniles are committing are becoming more heinous. Although there are many minors who commit misdemeanors, there are some whose crimes get the attention and sentencing of an adult.
